Duo Baião de Duas

As part of the 21st Tensamba Festival, El Almacén will present the duo Baião de Duas, composed of Brazilian musicians Aninha Paschoal and Kadija Teles, who reside in Spain. Aninha Paschoal (vocals and percussion) and Kadija Teles (piano and vocals) explore repertoires from various regions of Brazil connected to African-rooted music, including genres such as samba de roda, ijexá, baião, maracatu, and tambor mineiro, among others. This concert promises to take the audience on a journey through Brazil with their music, highlighting the duo's authentic musical identity and presenting Brazilian music from a fresh and unique perspective.
