Descent of La Virgen de los Dolores

La Virgen de los Dolores will undertake a historic pilgrimage from Mancha Blanca to Arrecife, a special event held for the third time in Lanzarote’s history. This procession, beginning in the early morning hours, will cover 18 kilometers and pass through towns like Teguise and San Bartolomé, with a notable stop at the Tao volcano. This initiative responds to a popular demand from the Lanzarote community, aiming to strengthen the cultural and spiritual bond of the island with its patroness.
