Anouar Brahem Quartet

The Lanzarote Visual Music Festival presents the Anouar Brahem Quartet at the Jameos del Agua Auditorium, where the renowned Tunisian oud player continues his nearly forty-year musical exploration. With an extensive discography, Brahem blends the ancient tradition of Arabic music with modern jazz, Western harmonies, and other ancient Eastern traditions. On this occasion, he returns with the quartet formed in 2009 for the album The Astounding Eyes of Rita, performing a repertoire that includes both the group’s regular pieces and selections from previous albums. This marks Brahem's third participation in the festival, following his performances in 1996 and 2000, reaffirming his deep connection with the event and his ability to open new sonic horizons.
