Sinfónicos en miniatura. Titán

The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium presents Sinfónicos en Miniatura: Titán, an event showcasing the monumental work of Gustav Mahler. The performance will feature Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer), a song cycle written by Mahler himself, who also penned the poetry, influenced by the collection of popular verses Des Knaben Wunderhorn. This cycle reflects the composer's autobiographical vision, depicting the traveler facing adversity. The second part of the event will be dedicated to Mahler's First Symphony, which integrates themes from his songs with a profound symphonic structure.
