Mujer contra mujer

The Federico García Lorca Cultural Center in Ingenio presents Mujer contra Mujer, a musical show inspired by the iconic group Mecano, an international reference in Spanish music and a symbol of the Movida Madrileña of the 1980s. Through a journey across their most emblematic songs, the production tells the story of Isabella Zurbarán, a transgender woman who, amid an economic crisis, faces the closure of her business, Transparent. With her final performance approaching, the show blends music, emotion, and memory, offering a theatrical experience that pays tribute both to Mecano’s musical legacy and to stories of resilience and personal struggle.
