The Pérez Galdós Theatre presents La voz que espera, a contemporary dance production from the Canary Islands inspired by La voz humana by the multifaceted French poet and playwright Jean Cocteau. This innovative choreographic interpretation blends dance, music, and the poetry of movement to explore the emotional depths of the original text. Directed by Quino Falero, with the poetic movement crafted by Vanessa Medina and live music by Laura Vega, the performance portrays the vulnerability and pain of a woman in love who fights until the end, like a wounded animal, to preserve the pure memory of her past love.
