Il Tabaro / Le Villi

The Teatro Pérez Galdós presents an operatic evening featuring Il Tabarro and Le Villi. In Il Tabarro, the story unfolds on a barge along the Seine, where Michele lives with his young wife, Giorgietta. Michele is consumed by jealousy, suspecting that Giorgietta is having an affair with Luigi, a dockworker, in a drama full of tension and passion. Le Villi, an opera-ballet, tells the tragic love story of Ana and Roberto. After marrying, Roberto must leave, plunging Ana into dark premonitions and deep sorrow, in a work that explores the fragility of happiness and the tragedy of fate.
