The Teatro Auditorio de Agüimes presents Agüimes en cinco cuerdas, a show that arises from the project Timples y otras Pequeñas Guitarras del Mundo, created by young timplistas Germán López, Althay Páez, Beselch Rodríguez, and Yone Rodríguez. The goal of this project is to highlight the timple and its relatives, such as the cuatro, charango, cavaquinho, and ukulele, through a repertoire that includes original compositions and works by masters like José Antonio Ramos, Domingo Rodríguez "El Colorao," and Benito Cabrera.
