An aquatic rope jump in the north of Tenerife
Jover's refreshing water rope jump gives a huge adrenaline hit: an ideal start to a great day of sun and sea on the north coast of Tenerife. After leaving the car next to the houses in Jóver, a 30-minute drive from La Laguna, you’ll need to walk for half an hour along a footpath used by local anglers. The exit point is a small platform perched 30 metres above the ground, above an underwater cave that faces the sea.
Rope jumping from a 30-metre cliff
After the jump, there is a dive into the sea and a swim to the rocky base of the cliff from where it rises again to the exit point. To do this, adequate clothing needs to be worn and jumpers should be strong swimmers. Wave and tide conditions must also be favourable, which tend to occur mainly in the summer. Because of this, jumpers are advised to go with a recognised company operating in the north of Tenerife that specialises in rope jumping.
