Richard Louv is a journalist and the author of ten books, published in 20 countries. His books have helped to launch an international movement for connecting children, families and communities with nature. Richard is the co-founder and president emeritus of The Children & Nature Network. In 2008, he received the Audubon medal (previous recipients include Rachel Carson, Sir David Attenborough and former US president Jimmy Carter).
