Romería San Roque

The traditional pilgrimage of Garachico in honor of San Roque is one of the most multitudinous celebrations in the Canary Islands. It is a festival that has been declared of National Tourist Interest. On this day thousands of visitors gather in the town and port of Garachico, to participate in one of the most genuine festivals on the island of Tenerife. The music enlivens the pilgrimage through the streets of the town, which culminates with a beautiful maritime pilgrimage.
