Carpets of Corpus Christi

Corpus de La Orotava is celebrated in June. It consists of the making of tapestries with flowers in the streets surrounding the town hall square. The main carpet usually occupies the entire surface of that square and is the one made with volcanic sand of all colors, brought directly from the Teide National Park.
