Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The most popular festival of Tenerife, the world famous Carnival of Santa Cruz, will return to the streets from June 23 to 26. The streets of the city are transformed during these days thanks to the costumes, live music, comparsas and murgas in a frenzy of dances and color. During these three days there will be dozens of street performances, with both night and daytime festivities, starting with the grim but comical Burial of the Sardine.
