A semi-urban beach where nude bathing is common
Esquinzo Butihondo beach is close to the Esquinzo Butihondo development, to the north of the large tourist town of Morro Jable. It’s a semi-urban beach spanning almost three kilometres, divided into different sections, which allow large areas of seclusion and tranquillity even though you are in a tourist zone. For this reason, the beach, situated in the south of the island, is perfect for nudist bathing in complete privacy, for sunbathing or practising a variety of water sports.
Golden sands and calm turquoise waters beside Morro Jable
Esquinzo Butihondo is a golden sand beach with peaceful blue waters. It offers a range of services allowing you spend the whole day on the beach, with sunbed and parasol hire, showers and toilets. There are a number of small bars dotted along the beach where you can eat beside the sea as well as stalls offering water sport equipment hire and classes. There is also an extensive range of hotel and apartment accommodation. The beach is very accessible, with parking facilities and a public bus service linking the beach to Morro Jable.
