Staying at the Las Cañadas del Teide Parador is a real privilege to enjoy from the very first ray of sun to the last. This landmark building is the only hotel in El Teide National Park in the middle of the island of Tenerife. A front-row seat to contemplate the natural landscape surrounding the highest peak in Spain. Now and again in winter it is covered with snow, and in spring it is carpeted with native plant species of broom and bugloss. And the starry nights have to be experienced to be believed!

The parador’s surroundings are wonderful, but that takes nothing away from its interior, with its cosy mountain refuge style. The favourite spots are the lounge, with its fireplace, and the classical, renovated restaurant. Here you can eat a hearty stew looking out through the window at El Teide. You can also put on your robe and go outside to the covered swimming pool to do some lengths. At night, as well as resting in your room, you can enjoy talks and observe the starry sky. To do this, there are two telescopes available free of charge to guests.
