Playitas

This trail is the second part of the Coast to Coast Trail Race and starts on the east coast from Playitas.

Here the run begins from the golf course and takes the runner on sandy, wide, and easy dirt tracks through a long, slow climb up to end off in Tuineje. The route is surrounded by wide, open volcano views and has the typical sandy trails of Fuerteventura.

Before arriving at Tuineje there is a last ascent which is not so steep. The route goes more up than down but gives the sensation of being flat.
