Rope Jump in Piedra Hincada

Rope Jump Piedra Hincada, Rope Jump in Tenerife

Jump from the highest bridge in Tenerife

For experienced jumpers this is one of the most popular rope jumps on the island of Tenerife. The bridge is on an under-construction access road, on the ring road known as the "anillo insular." Located close to the coastal town of Playa San Juan in the west of Tenerife this rope jump is the highest and most impressive of its kind on the island. Its exit point off of the highest bridge in Tenerife and its proximity to parking spaces make it an easy jump to try.

Fall one hundred metres from an accessible bridge

The bridge is situated 329 metres above sea level, bridging the Tanse ravine, a deep gorge that zigzags down a steep plain where bananas are grown. The jump is one hundred metres of free fall and 125 metres in total length. The area enjoys good weather all year round, but jumpers should avoid making the leap when it is raining - remember to follow any advice given by the local company that has organised your jump. There is easy parking and getting back to the exit point, although long, is not difficult.
