Firgas

This route is situated in northern Gran Canaria in the Firgas zone. It is known as “Ruta Doramas”, a route with constant ups and downs.

Starting in Firgas the trails go down bigger roads, passing houses towards San Andres. Here the trails rise into an ascent through lush, green vegetation in the area of El Pedregal. From here the trails shift from red (mud and puddles if it rains) to pure dirt tracks that can be very slippery. Going up a very steep slope the trail continues up and down through green valleys and lush vegetation back to Firgas.

The valley areas are very technical and some trails are narrow and technical going through hilly turf and lush vegetation.
