Descripción del evento

The rain Perseids will peak during the night of August 12 and early on the 13th, leaving up to 100 meteors per hour. They are called Perseids because they all seem to come from a point in the constellation of Perseus. To locate it, it is best to be in a place with a clear horizon to the northeast and look for Cassiopeia, easier to identify than Perseus. In the Canary Islands they have become the most popular, since coinciding with the summer season the clear skies allow to see them from various points of the islands. One of the most common is the Teide, where hundreds of people come every year to observe this great phenomenon.
