Scuba diving in La Cuevita

Diving in San Sebastián de La Gomera

The beach at La Cuevita, located on the coast of San Sebastian de La Gomera, is ideal for scuba divers of all levels. Located on the east of the island, it is one of the most popular dive spots in La Gomera because of its easy accessibility and its biodiversity, thanks to the currents in the area. Rays, garden eels and barracudas are some of the frequent visitors to La Cuevita but occasionally turtles and giant ocean sunfish can be seen.

A night-time dive for suitable for all levels

The maximum dive depth at La Cuevita, which is accessed from a pebble beach, is 22 metres at its furthest point from the sea floor. The sea is normally calm and without currents, and night dives are often done in the area. On days with big waves divers should take care when entering and exiting the water.
